Attendees at the hands-on FlashLite training session on 7 August 2015.

UQ formally accepted the FlashLite high performance computing equipment in late August 2015.

The Chief Investigators on the FlashLite ARC grant were then invited to suggest early adopters of the new data intensive supercomputer.

By mid-to-late September, RCC expects FlashLite to be available for general use.

A hands-on FlashLite training session was held on 7 August 2015 as part of the FlashLite launch activities, which included an informative seminar by Prof Michael Norman, Director of the San Diego Supercomputer Centre.

There will be regular new user training sessions once FlashLite is fully operational. These will be promoted on the Training webpage of the new RCC website.

New users will be invited to the next training session as part of the account creation process.

See the RCC website for further information about FlashLite, including how to apply for an account.
