Travel grant launched for women in STEM

19 Sep 2017

Campus Travel and Virgin Australia have launched a travel grant series for women at Australian research institutions who are learning, teaching or conducting research in STEM (science, technology, engineering and mathematics).

The grant, worth up to $6,000, provides travel funding for a successful applicant to enrich their area of study or academic work on a trip-of-a-lifetime, wherever their professional interests take them.

If you are female, employed by an Australian university or research organisation, or a PhD student with a STEM-related focus, you are eligible to apply for the Campus Travel and Virgin Australia 2017 Travel Grant.

Your project, research or activity can relate to any of the STEM fields — as long as it supports the further development of STEM learning, development or outcomes.

Applications close Friday, 20 October 2017. See Campus Travel for more information and to apply.
