RCC Director Prof David Abramson showcased new data-intensive high performance computer FlashLite at October's eResearch Australasia conference at the Brisbane Convention & Exhibition Centre.
QCIF invited its members to present their eResearch services and resources at its exhibition booth at the conference (19–23 October), which RCC readily accepted.
Prof Abramson designed FlashLite, based on Gordon, the US National Science Foundation supercomputer. FlashLite is available to Australian researchers via QCIF's QRIScloud portal.
