RCC's Dr Nick Hamilton was awarded an ARC grant in the funding round announced on 30 October.
Dr Nick, and co-researcher Associate Professor Ian Smyth of Monash University, will receive $488,100 across 2016–2018 for their research on 'Morphological development of the kidney—a paradigm for organogenesis'.
It was a week of career highs as Dr Nick was also a keynote speaker on 3 November at the third Indonesian Mathematical Society (IndoMS) International Conference on Mathematics and its Applications (IICMA).
Nick's talk was on the structure of the kidney and mathematical modelling of kidney development.
