RCC has joined a project to provide high performance computing opportunities to students at Faith Lutheran College, Redlands.
HPC@FLC is a collaborative initiative between the Brisbane school, RCC, the Queensland Academy for Science, Mathematics and Technology (QASMT), and Melbourne's John Monash Science School, where RCC Director Prof David Abramson, formerly of Monash University, first helped to introduce a similar program.
As part of HPC@FLC, two students—Travis Jacob and Harrison Cook—will attend SC15, a supercomputing conference in Austin, Texas from 15–20 November.
