Year 11 student Harrison Ryan recently spent an “amazing” week with RCC to gain work experience in operating and maintaining supercomputers.
Harry, from Brisbane’s Holland Park State High School, checked out UQ’s on-campus computer clusters and RCC’s state-of-the-art videoconferencing facility, and learnt about the software behind the computing.
“With my various experiences at RCC I have now opened my eyes to the vast array of opportunities that await me in the field of I.T.,” said Harry. “I’d just like to further thank [RCC Director] David [Abramson[, and everyone who taught and guided me through the office.”
