Two RCC staff have co-authored a paper on the Genomics Virtual Laboratory published in the open access scientific journal PLOS ONE on 26 October.
Dr Igor Makunin and Derek Benson were two of 11 authors on 'Genomics Virtual Laboratory: A Practical Bioinformatics Workbench for the Cloud.'
Both Igor and Derek work for RCC specifically on the NeCTAR GVL project—Igor in Research Support, and Derek as a Cloud Computing Systems Administrator.
