RCC Director Prof. David Abramson is adding another job title to his career — that of playwright.
All are welcome to attend the free, staged reading of Prof. Abramson’s play “Purely Academic” at the Geoffrey Rush Drama Studio at UQ, St Lucia, Monday, 7 November, 5pm–9pm.
The play is a comedic dramatisation of the darker side of academia, including both personal and professional clashes in technical collaborations. It invites an honest discussion about professional ethics and practices today, and what ‘persona’ is cultivated by today’s academic regime.
The play features actual academics and university support staff as the cast, including RCC/IMB/QCIF eResearch Analyst Dr Nick Hamilton. Please register for seats.
