A RCC staffer on the organising committee of an international supercomputing conference is heading to Northern Ireland this month.

Senior Principal Software Engineer/Developer Dr Mark Endrei is on the Organising Committee for the ACM International Conference on Supercomputing (ICS 2026) as the Asia-Pacific Publicity Chair.

At ICS 2026, in Belfast from 6-9 July, Mark will chair the lightning talks session for accepted posters

The conference also includes a students and early-career researchers mentoring program this year. Mark is looking forward to participating as a mentor

"The Organising Committee is arranging mentor and mentee group introductions and a session on mentoring ideas for participants. It seems like a great way to contribute to the HPC community," said Mark.

ICS 2026 serves as a leading international forum for presenting research results in high-performance computing systems.

This year is the 40th edition of the conference.

ACM is the Association for Computing Machinery.
