Hacky Hour at UQ has returned with the first meetup for 2017 taking place on Tuesday, 14 February.
Hacky Hour is held weekly on Tuesdays, 3pm–4pm, at Cafe Nano on UQ's St Lucia Campus. The informal meetup provides UQ researchers and research support staff with a forum to get help from experts (including RCC staff) with any research-related IT issues. Common questions involve HPC problems, or roadblocks with programming languages such as Python and R.
All UQ staff and students are welcome to attend Hacky Hour, which is open and free. No registration required, just turn up!
Hacky Hour is usually held weekly but is sometimes cancelled if IT experts are unavailable that week. Follow Hacky Hour on Twitter (@HackyHourStLuc) to keep updated of any cancellations.
