SC22
SC is one of the largest HPC conferences in the world. It hosts thousands of attendees, exhibitors, and presenters representing institutions of every shape and size.
SC’s official name is the International Conference for High Performance Computing, Networking, Storage, and Analysis.
The theme of SC22 is “HPC accelerates”.
RCC has a long association with the SC series of conferences. RCC Director Professor David Abramson is a regular attendee of SC (he's also been on the conference's various organising committees), and in some years, some of our other staff have also attended. Before the COVID-19 pandemic, RCC and UQ would annually sponsor four secondary students, usually from the Queensland Academy for Science, Mathematics and Technology (QASMT), to visit the Supercomputing Conference in the USA.
